Packaging, in-store displays, digital assets
As the packaging and retail Designer, I work mostly on updating and creating net-new packaging for our line of security products ranging from Retail kits, Video doorbells, in-box documentation, hazard sensors and accessory boxes. On the retail side of things, I redesigned our entire Amazon storefront, Best Buy Sam’s club and Costco in-store displays, product assortments and digital product pages to launch our new Outdoor Camera (series 2). Our Outdoor Camera 2 launch included retail displays in over 1,400 Best Buy stores nationwide. I also create digital media and ads that are featured across the web, highlighting our sales and products.
As part of SimpliSafe’s sponsorship of Variety Magazine’s SXSW True Crime Summit, I had the opportunity to create a full page ad for the print issue and display banners to be used on their website. The focus of this ad was that SimpliSafe offers whole home protection to protect against intruders, playing up the True Crime angle. This design was then adjusted to be featured on our homepage and used in other channels across the company.
